Gion-Koh is a townhouse built in the Taisho period, located in Gion, the center of Kyoto culture. While retaining the atmosphere of those days, we have prepared both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms for your comfort, creating a nostalgic Japanese space where you can relax and enjoy the seasonal scenery of Kyoto. It is walking distance to all the happening places in Gion. It is easy to get around but located in a quiet lane close to the main road. NickUKJapanese classical, nostalgic but modern equipped confortable inn with the best location. Surprisingly, furniture is luxurious real antique even beyond guesthouse level. The romantic courtyard is beautiful above all. The host is very nice local guy, and I could enjoy the wonderful Kyoto stay thanks to his supports.
